Department & Missions
To assist all guests at the Guest Service Department, but to concentrate specifically on German-speaking group and individual guests with their special needs and requirements in their native languages so as to give them a full, first class hotel experience.
• Receives and handles special requests from German-speaking group and individual guests.
• Works in conjunction with and assists the Butler Service Team and the Concierge with handling special requests such as Honeymoon set-ups, Anniversary Packages, Birthday Packages, special dietary needs, medical needs, etc. for German-speaking guests. Follows up to ensure departments responsible have completed the requirements.
• Contacts German-speaking guests when necessary to offer assistance in making restaurant bookings, ordering special local/dietary food, arranging special activities & excursions.
• Coordinates announcements and the translation/printing of pertinent literature used, into the required languages relative to the German-speaking guests.
• Assists with related collateral for all German-speaking guests and ensures necessary items are properly translated and placed in the correct staterooms.
• Trains co-workers on the German-speaking Culture.

In order to consistently exceed guest expectations and provide the highest levels of product and services, additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Zur Unterstützung der alle Gäste an der Gast-Service-Abteilung, mit Konzentration speziell auf deutschsprachige Gruppe und einzelne deutschsprachige Gäste mit ihren besonderen Bedürfnissen und Anforderungen in ihrer Muttersprache, damit sie eine vollständige, First-Class-Hotel-Erlebnis, bekommen.

• Empfängt spezielle Anfragen aus dem deutschsprachigen Raum, Gruppen- und Einzelgäste.
• Arbeitet in Verbindung mit und unterstützt den Butler-Service-Team und den Concierge im Umgang mit Sonderwünsche wie Flitterwochen Set-ups, Jahrestag Pakete, Geburtstag Pakete, spezielle Ernährungsbedürfnisse, medizinischen Bedarf etc. für deutschsprachige Gäste. Nachverfolgen, um sicherzustellen, dass die verantwortliche Abteilungen die Anforderungen erfüllen.
• Gesprächspartner für deutschsprachige Gäste bei Restaurant-Reservierungen, bestellen von spezielle lokale / diätetische Lebensmittel, Vermittlung von speziellen Aktivitäten und Ausflüge.
• Übersetzung von Ankündigungen, in die erforderlichen Sprachen, in Bezug auf die deutschsprachige Gäste.
• Stellt sicher dass Vorlagen für alle deutschsprachigen Gäste korrekt übersetzt werden und in den richtigen Prunkräume gelegt.
• Ausbildung von Mitarbeiter auf der deutschsprachigen Kultur.
