This is in internship in a 5 Star Resort, looking after the well being of the German Guests.

• He / She will  report to the Front Office Manager and will have the entire support of the Human Resources Manager and the Senior HR & Training Coordinator.

• Candidate will be responsible for ensuring that guests are happy of the service and making sure that their personal requests are met.
  • He/ She will also need to undertake guest profiling leading to sales opportunities
  • Initiate up selling to ensure maximum guests yield in coordination with the operating department
  • Remains at the entire disposal of guests for any information requested
  • Channel guests complaints on technical issues
  • Coordinate wedding planning and ensure smooth wedding operations.

• Supportive functions:
  • Handle complaints promptly and efficiently
  • Maintain awareness of guests’ profiles and specific preferences
  • Recognizing and providing special care to VIP guests
  • Providing personalized service to guests
  • Have good knowledge about the hotel facilities and services
  • Apply the hotel global operating standards and acting as a role model of how these standards should be carried out in a practical setting
  • Candidate will need to effectively communicate, coordinate and cooperate with all departments so that hotel objectives are met
  • Maintain awareness of sales opportunities
  • Maximizing revenue in an ethical and responsible manner

• Ensuring the welcoming of each and every guests arriving at the Hotel.

• Ensure prompt, smooth and polite service based on standards
• Arrival of VIP guests – to co-ordinate VIP treatments and special requirements with a view to upsell
• Channel guests complaints on technical issues / special or dietary request to hotline
• Co-ordinate wedding planning and ensure smooth wedding operations
• Prompt sale leads opportunity and communicates them to CSM (Customer Service Manager)
• Initiate up-selling to ensure maximum guests yield in co-ordination with operating department
• Adhere to daily up-selling targets determined by HOD (Head of Department) with relevant departments
• Ensure good co-operation and regular exchange of information with all departments.
• Joint responsibility for maintaining standards, revise these regularly and feed back to HOD for regular revision these are upheld by targeted training
• Ensure a good working environment within the department
• Pay attention to adherence to the regulations of the employment laws and other legal provisions (fire protection, health and safety at work etc)
• Participation Communication/morning Meetings and one to one meetings on a regular basis
